| Glen and Nancy's 1959 International diesel, formerly a log truck. The most beautiful craftsmanship I've seen yet in a bus or truck. This is their third vehicle and it shows. Lots of open space and a good deal of storage. The cost so far, estimated at $15,000. Features include a refrigerator and water heater fueled by a 50 gallon propane tank, specially made under carriage water tanks, much stained and leaded glass work and much very high quality finish lumber. In this photo, the project is about two years old. |

A close-up of the side door. Note the beautiful beveled glass window and bevels on the door. Also note the angle iron to support the overhang space of the front bedroom. Fancy metal cutting on the heavy steel knee brace which is not only for looks, but serves the purpose of structural support. Beauty and function. Two of the many skylights appear in this photo as well. |

Storage, light , art, and craftsmanship.
| Coming or going, it's a beaut! Glen and Nancy were being paid to drive this rig to L.A. as a promotion for a new book on trucks and buses named Rolling Homes. Glen got credit from the local Community College for working on the interior. This photo was taken in May of 1979, as we were 'chasing' the truck before it parked. We saw it first the summer before and had been looking for it ever since. Many other people had seen it, but no one knew where it was parked. |
